GOALS FOR 2026 (WRITING & REAL LIFE)

 GOALS FOR 2026

IN WRITING AND IN REAL LIFE

A new year has finally started<eye roll), and I've got to say I'm nervous, excited, thrilled, anxious, and confident that changes are going to happen. Last year, I was in a rocky phase with my books, because fitting in time for my day job in between time for writing was hard. Very hard. But I pushed through. This year, I would love to see how that progresses.

My first goal;

IMPROVE MY MARKETING STRATEGIES

Getting my books advertised across different digital platforms has been tough. Being a self-publisher, you've got to do everything yourself. I wish I had a marketing team, but wishing it is not enough. I'm hoping this year, I'll invest enough into getting the proper marketing so my books get more sales on different platforms.

IMPROVE MY SALES

Similar to the first point, I have to put in a lot of effort to increase sales this time. Last year wasn't that good, so I'm hoping that in 2026, I'll have more strategies to utilize.

EXPAND THE GREY FANBASE

Readers giving their feedback is what makes the author's day go round. So, this year, I'm hoping and praying for more readers. This time, I'm not only targeting the thriller freaks, but I plan on converting readers from other genres. This time, I'll make reading more interactive. I won't end after the epilogue, but I'll be adding more questions, character art, or even bonus/extended scenes. I'll even ask fans to write and send their fan theories of what would happen next in the books, or even put up game quizzes on previous books.

IN REAL LIFE

FOLLOW MY DIET PLAN

INVEST

WORK OUT MORE

TRAVEL TO MORE PLACES

AND.....

GET MORE SIDE HUSTLES

That's pretty much my goals listed for this year. Ofcourse, more will be added but it will make a lenghty article. So, I'll leave these out there.
