WRITERLY UPDATE
WRITERLY UPDATE
Been a little MIA for a few months, right? I know. My apologies. I've been busy with other stuff as well as a new upcoming project in the works. Nothing much has been going on in my life but I promise to hit you up with a Life Update post.
Whiles I've been working on my next novel, I came up with some cool designs and illustrations which consist of my characters in yet-to-be released books.
I made a portrait of characters in my psychological thriller anthology book series Behind Closed Doors, novels focusing on celebrities living in a town of New Orleans experiencing the dark world of the lifestyle. Celebs harbouring dark secrets behind the doors of their homes and how much they will be willing to keep them in order to protect their image by any means necessary.
Portrait of what my characters look like.
And I also made some cool merch too:
New Book Hint
In my new book, which is a part of the Bad Habits book collection, it is set in the same world as my previous thriller, The Deal which is on Amazon. It follows a retired TV sitcom actress ready to start a new life with a new man she finally settles down with. Just then, out of nowhere, her ex fiance returns to the neighbourhood and his intentions are absolutely not innocent at all. She also realizes her husband has a secretive past which she tries to investigate but she is unaware that her obsessed ex boyfriend knows exactly who her husband is.
Would give updates once the draft is done.

YOU'RE NOT SAFE
Childhood bestfriends Emma Woodburn and Araba Dadzie have shared a long history of laughs together and have sworn to never let anything come between them. They promise to be in eachother's lives till they're old enough to raise families and age gracefully. When they both start working as interns on a late night comedy show, Araba's relationship with her parents take a downward spiral. Her hatred for them takes a whole new level. If shooting stars were real, she'd wish her parents would vanish out of her life for good. What's worse, is that they want her and everyone else to believe they're trying to be good parents, while masking the awful people they truly are.
She believes they are coming in between her relationship with Emma and even worse, there might be something sinister at play. Araba becomes very suspicious of her uncle whom she never wants to speak to again, as he forcefully tries to get her attention. Simultaneously, this happens while Araba's mother begins stalking them as well, making Emma and her mother start to feel very unsafe with Araba.
As tension rises between both families, Araba realizes she will have to use any deadly means necessary to protect the bond she has with her bestfriend and her mother, who are the only people who have ever loved her. At what lengths will she go in doing so? What shocking secrets have her uncle and parents been keeping this whole time, and would Araba ever find out before the deed is done?
