MY UPCOMING NOVEL: THE DEAL

 THE DEAL IS COMING SOON!

I took a three-month hiatus from writing because I wanted to simply BRAINSTORM and get new, fresh ideas for my upcoming project. The idea of this book's storyline came to me in the form of a dream (ha! Just kidding!) I thought of creating a character that we would all love to hate, and that helped me come up with the idea for this book. The Deal will follow a depressed, alcoholic actress in South Africa, Bernadette Amara, who not only hates her life, but the man she chose to live with as well. She's fighting desperately for a way to free herself from this life of fame, where the paparazzi endlessly hunt her down, or crazed fans try to get a little too close to her. A glimmer of hope rises when she sees a woman who looks exactly like her. An idea pops up in her head and then she decides to offer her 'The deal'; if this woman agrees to take Bernadette's identity while Bernadette takes hers, she will live a glamorous life with a "wonderful man". But this woman, of course, refuses. Why? Because she's hiding something dark......Impersonating a famous actress would lead to her secret getting exposed.... Bernadette, however, will do whatever it takes to force this woman to take this deal.

I will start updating the first draft on NOVEMBER 19, 2023. It's going to be mesmerizing, psychological and very edgy. This thriller will explore the dark side of celebrity life as well. 

If you go to my previous blog posts, you'll see I wrote six novellas which serve as a prequel to this book, which I also plan on making a series of. The plan is to turn this thriller into a series of five or six books. All six will follow Bernadette Amara's dark journey to escape the life she now hates.
