WHO AM I? WHAT I'M ABOUT TO RELEASE THIS YEAR

 WHO IS KEITH KILLINGS AND WHERE I GOT THE PSEUDONYM FROM?

Hello, everyone tuning in to read. Welcome to my blog. I'm Keith Killings. Well, it's not my real name but I choose to go by it anyway. Since primary four, writing had been my passion. I would come up with fantasy stories of my own and write them because back then in my time, I was inspired by films like Harry Potter and when I read J.K.'s books, I became obsessed with collecting them. My favorite of the series was Order of The Pheonix by the way. I personally didn't like Deathly Hallows, both the book and movie because I didn't get the same suspenseful feels I got from the previous ones, but the finale ended up being my favorite. Ha! 

Along the way to my teens, I became interested in drawing my own comic books, so I did a few sketches from time to time. I had a best friend who also shared the same passion with me back then, but all of a sudden, he stopped being my friend and avoided me...well, why? I still don't know. So, it got to a time I lost interest in illustrating comics, but when I was done with high school, I became inspired by the Marvel and DC blockbuster movies that were being released and then that passion to create my own fictional characters and their stories returned. I created my own superhero horror series titled "The Paranormals", which followed a team of supernatural friends fighting other supernatural threats in the world. 

I wanted to publish this series so much, but I was told to get my degree before I could obtain the respect of being a well, educated author. I became burnt out of illustrating comics, because I believed it would take a long time to get my work out there, so then, I said fuck it, let me write thrillers. Dark, edgy, suspenseful thrillers, because I saw that in college, I became fascinated with true crime documentaries and listened to numerous crime podcasts and followed YouTubers like Bailey Sairin and Christina Randall. I genuinely love thrillers and horror as well, even though my parents, family members and friends around me don't like it. 

At first, during the time I was drawing comics, I wanted my illustrator name to be KSN. But now as a novelist, I wanted a thrilling name. So, I went to an author title generator website run by A.I.(Lol). It gave me the name Keith Killer. I found it interesting and wanted to go with it, but then a co-worker of mine told me there was something wrong with it.  So then, I remember the name of a WWE wrestler (a very funny guy) and he goes by R-Truth. If you're a wrestling fan, you'll know who I'm talking about. His real name is Ron or Ronnie Killings. So, remembering that, I said to myself.... Keith Killings! Ha ha.

Hobbies? I'm a fan of reading thrillers, horror, cozy mysteries, and....smutty romance (normally sapphic ones) yeah. Romantic suspense as well, because I am a huge Sandra Brown fan, as well as Nora Roberts and the squad. Movies and TV shows, I love them too. I'm preferring tv shows now because they give the audience time to know the characters better. Authors who I normally read are Kiersten Modglin, Freida McFadden, Amy Cross, Darcy Coates and well, I'm searching for others. Don't worry, I intend to use this blog to review and talk about these authors' books, as well as the books that are also trending from Book Tube. 

I'll also review movies and TV shows, well, at certain times, I will talk trash about them if they're bad, woke or have man-hating messages in them. 

WHAT I INTEND ON PUBLISHING THIS YEAR

I'm currently working on a list of short stories I will release by the end of this year. I've written four and right now I have four more to go. Stay tuned, because these stories will serve as a prequel to a psychological crime thriller series, which follows a depressed, broken and homicidal South African actress who realizes being a celebrity has ruined her life, so she plans to leave the life filled with paparazzi, lies and rumors from the media, as well as internet trolls in order to find a new identity and star a new life. Most importantly, she has to find a way to leave the man she thought loved her, because no matter what, he will not make her leave as long as she belongs to him.

Not dark enough? Don't worry, there's more and trust me, it gets darker and more intense. There'll be drama, there'll be mystery, dark secrets, betrayal, a bit of romance and shady characters, who are from the short stories I'm currently writing. These stories are free now on Wattpad and if you are interested in reading them, I will share the link sooner.
